New website, new fellows, new everything!
Plus, one farewell...

Happy Juneteenth and Pride, everyone! Yes, we know we’re a little past the actual dates of Juneteenth and Indy Pride, but come on, isn’t it on brand for us to be a little fashionably late? ;)
We’ve got some super exciting news to share with you all below (spoiler alert: our new website’s up!), so read on to find out about all the creative economy-related shenanigans we’ve got going on!
The new Pattern website is up and running!

That’s right, folks. We’ve spent a long time getting ready to unveil it to you and now…here it is. The new and improved Pattern website! Not only does it have our updated brand palette, it also contains up-to-date information about our programs, services, magazine, and advocacy work. Check it out for yourself! We’re sure you’re gonna love it :)
And speaking of new websites, our partners at Indiana Music History Project just launched theirs! This new site makes it easier to get involved, learn about current projects, and even become a member.
🚨🚨New fellows alert!🚨🚨

We promised updates on our new fellows in our last newsletter…and we’re here to deliver! We are so excited to welcome FIVE new fellows to Pattern’s team! They are:
We know, we know. Five is a lot of fellows, but they all impressed us so much we had to take them on! We can’t wait to see what unique skills and talents they’ll bring to the table.
Vol 27 is here!

She’s here! She’s beautiful! And she’s in print! We’re so excited to deliver Volume 27, The Bike Issue, to you. We might be biased, but we’re pretty proud of this one. If you’re already subscribed, your issue will be arriving soon! If not (why not?), it’s not too late to get a copy!
Farewell to the one and only Jenny Walton
After four amazing years (has it really been that long??), Jenny Walton, managing editor of PATTERN Magazine (not to mention jack-of-all-trades, poet, and office badass), is moving on to a full-time position with the Indianapolis Public Library! We love her and will miss her (and we’re totally not crying writing this, btw), but we know that she’ll be amazing in this new role. | ![]() Photo by Polina Osherov |
Stitchworks graduation

On a happier note, we had our senior class of teens over at Stitchworks graduate from the industrial sewing certification program! Congratulations to all of them, and we wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors. If you’re interested in learning to sew, check out what we have going on over at Stitchworks!
