Welcome to BUTTER

For the uninitiated, BUTTER is a fine art fair showcasing Black visual artists organized by GANGGANG. Some of the artists are local. Many of the artists are from across the United States. One hundred percent of every artwork sale goes directly to the artist.

A little Art Basel. A little SXSW. A little magic. There’s nothing like it.

At PATTERN, we’re excited about anything that shines a light on the creative economy, and GANGANG nailed it with another year of BUTTER. This past Labor Day Weekend marked its third year at The Stutz, and through September, we’ll be sharing a few of the countless stories that there are to tell from the people behind BUTTER and the art. If you attended, we hope these stories will give you an even greater appreciation for what you experienced. If you didn’t, no worries! Each story stands on its own.
